2016 Holiday Shipping Guidelines from Canada Post

 
HOLIDAY SEASON 2016 SUGGESTED MAILING DATES from Canada Post
   Canada Post suggests the following as shipping dates for Christmas delivery. Please know these are ESTIMATES and are NOT GUARANTEED. The earlier orders are placed and shipped, delivery for Christmas is more likely. Also, please note that December 24 is on a Saturday this year so there will be no mail delivery in Canada after the 23rd.
Between November 21 and December 16, I will be shipping daily, as required, to make sure your order’s journey is as timely as possible. I really want you to receive your package in time!

Regular International Small Packet Air (prices stated in listings) - Please order by December 1 for shipping by December 2. Tracking NOT included.
 
Xpresspost International Air (Contact me for pricing to your location) – Please order by December 5 for shipping by December 7. A Shipping Upgrade listing/invoice will be created for purchase PRIOR to shipping to cover the additional costs. Tracking is included.


 United States
 
Regular Small Packet Air (prices stated in listings) - Please order by December 8 for shipping by December 9. Tracking NOT included.

Xpresspost US (Contact me for pricing to your location) – Please order by December 14 for shipping by December 15. A Shipping Upgrade listing/invoice will be created for purchase PRIOR to shipping to cover the additional costs. Tracking is included.

Regular Service - Please order by December 11 for shipping by December 12.

Canada Post Update

 
Unfortunately, the dispute at Canada Post remains unresolved. Canada Post has issued a notice to employees that they will be changing the terms of employment beginning Friday, July 8. This will likely result in a strike or lock out. If so, any mail already in the system will remain there until resolution is achieved.
My last shipping date through Canada Post, before the 8th will be Wednesday, July 6. Wild Woman will remain open and I will continue to contact customers individually to achieve the most satisfactory options for each person. If a strike occurs, Courier shipping will be available in Canada and the US for an additional fee. Quotes are available upon request.
I will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they are available. Hopefully, resolution will be quickly achieved with minimal disruption and delays. I regret this inconvenience to my customers and hope you will contact me with any questions or concerns. My thanks to all of you who have already been most patient and understanding!

Canada Post ~ Possible Strike

 
Please know that, unfortunately, Canada Post may have a work stoppage as early as July 2.  Orders placed this week, within Canada and internationally may not arrive before a strike begins.
Customers placing orders this week will be individually contacted to ensure awareness of possible delays in delivery of purchases. Wednesday, June 29 will be my last shipping date prior to the possible work stoppage.  Courier Service, which is unaffected by any issues at Canada Post, is available for Canadian and US orders for an additional fee – please contact me for a quote for this delivery service to your destination.
I am closely watching the situation. Hopefully, all will be resolved quickly and successfully, with minimum interruptions to mail service and inconvenience to my valued customers. At the moment, Wild Woman Jewelry will remain open and I will update you with any new information as it becomes available.  Please contact me with any questions. Thank you!
